Executive Consultant / Manager

As one of the highest grades in the ITSM world, the Executive Consultant/Manager seminar aims at the best of the best: real IT Service Management heavyweights with extensive experience.

Training and certification are divided into 2 sessions spanning 3 to 4 months, during which time candidates write compelling projects and present them to the exam board.

Prerequisites for enroling
• The Consultant/Manager Certificate in ITSM according to ISO/IEC 20000
• At least 3 years of working experience in IT Service Management, including 1 year in a role as consultant or manager in IT Service Management
• Having attended an accredited Executive Consultant/Manager Seminar in ITSM according to ISO/IEC 20000
• Having successfully accomplished the executive project for the accredited seminar

Training/ seminar
The seminar provides an opportunity for senior consultants and managers to exchange experience and understanding in dealing with strategic issues, providing direction for an IT organization and integrating management systems to support the overall governance of a company.

Details:
• Address practical expertise in a well-structured seminar
• Be aligned with the requirements for the Executive Consultant/Manager exam (i.e. cover the syllabus)
• Provide the attendees the opportunity to interact and discuss their experience and exercise their skills
• The Executive Consultant/Manager seminar consists of two sessions, each lasting two days (4 days total, at least 7 hours each day), with a minimal period of three months (12 weeks) in between. (During the interval the participants work on their executive project.)
• Include executive projects for each participant to show his/her skills as a Executive Consultant/Manager and provide individual feedback on the level of these skills and the possibilities to improve them
• The Executive Consultant/Manager seminar is led by an accredited tutor. Executive projects will be an integral part of the course and will focus on the organizational and communication skills of the attendees.

Exam prerequisites
(The exam session is part of the Executive Seminar)
• Candidates provide a 15 minute presentation based on their executive project, followed by 15 minutes of discussion and questioning by an examiner
• Assessment of the candidate is based on the executive project and his/her contribution in the Executive Seminar and the exam session
